Ever since long ago, Zeus has promised mankind, in return of chaos for the last centuries for a new world filled with stories and adventures. To a new realm called ‘Esplendite’, within the history is it already written that The Esplendite gates are spread over nine corners of the world, Germany, Spain, Greece, England, Dutch, Japan, Cuba, Austria, and Italy and are guarded by a Liege.

The Liege whereabouts are spread world-wide, living different life born into different kind of household and all still carrying The Gods and Goddesses blood within them. The Committee of Esplendite holds all the meta-data of 9 of them ever since they were first born, prepared and expected to be the pillar of ESPLENDITE’s mission later on. By the age of 11, it is promised that The Lieges will be informed about their existence as a Demi-God and It will also be their first year under The ESPLENDITE training facility camp.

Adamantine Hironidas Lee, Son of Hadesㅡ The guardians of the Berlin gate is acknowledged to be The first Liege when he turned 11 in 1994, informed by Hermes, The Messenger of God himself. Adam, once he is officially throned as The Lieges, is assigned to start his quest and travel to each of The City where ESPLENDITE Gates are whenever there is one turned 11 years old by the time.

Damian Alberhan Zadkiel, Son of AthenaㅡThe guardian of the London gate. Leonidas Dionysius Leander, Son of DionysusㅡThe guardian of the Amsterdam gate and Arestian Dryades Benzoir, Son of AresㅡThe guardian of the Madrid gate joined Adam in the same year of 2005.

Two years later in 2007, Alyamare Hermonia Sagrada, Daughter of ZeusㅡThe guardian of the Havana gate, Aleikha Deianeira Cavandish Daughter of AphroditeㅡThe guardian of the Tokyo gate, Aiara Thalia Briseis Daughter of PoseidonㅡThe guardian of the Athens gate, and Jacinta Agea Hagné, Daughter of ApolloㅡThe guardian of the Rome gate. Joined. Embarking their arrivals as the first girl of The Liege's troupe.

The last pillars to complete the 9 Lieges have joined in the year of 2010, Svajone Karensja Zihn-Lee, The guardian of the Vienna gate who also happened to be The Daughter of Hades. The only God whose both of his child is throned to be the first and the last Liege.

There was a reason why Hades' children were the ones to be put at the first and last Liege. Being the only one who's loyal to one queen amongst the three Gods with Zeus and Poseidon, Hades only had children from Persephone. The Goddess of Spring wanted to lay low and keep everything lowkey. Adam and Svajone was only told they were demi-god, just like the rest of the Liege. However, slowly, Adam and Svajone discovered that they are not only demi-god by given birth by Persephone herself.

They begin their training day and night in The ESPLENDITE Training Facility Camp, all to excel various skills to carry their mission for Esplendite. They are still living as a normal citizen with their everyday life while ongoing with the training and guarding The Esplendite gates in their respective city until the time ticks into 2020, the year when they will execute The ESPLENDITE mission to manifest a new world.

The year when The 9 Esplendite gates will be first opened since created centuries ago by the Gods and Goddesses.

The beginning of this story will revolve around the oldest Liege: Adamantine Hironidas Lee.

The sun was shining radiantly in Berlin that day. All he could think back to was laughter and contentment echoed through the house. He wasn’t able to comprehend any words coming out of their lips. However, they were making an effort to communicate with him. They embraced him with so much love and warmth. Yet things went in the blink of an eye, like a camera flashing past his eyes, everything was so fast. The next thing he knew, he was still hardly able to speak German. Everyone would glance at him whilst assuming that he was odd and bizarre. Everything about him just wasn’t right. No memories of his early days, no one told him about anything that happened through the first few years of his early life.

He was actually clever and brilliant compared to the other kids around his age. There were questions inside his head but no one was able to satisfy him with their answers. Asian by gene and blood who was born in Berlin but couldn’t even speak German. He couldn’t stop speculating about it yet no one questioned those strange facts but Adamantine himself. Nothing much the young boy can do but to dwell in silence for years. However, they managed to make him believe that he had a normal life. A young boy with a normal family, surroundings, friends, and everything else. They managed to make sure he believes that there was nothing strange or weird about him.

And his eleventh birthday happened when things were just started to seem normal.

There was a loud thud down the hallway of that one particular enormous house he used to live in. He was half asleep, the clocks were striking almost midnight, lights were oddly dimmed that he was barely seeing anything. He made his way down the hall yet no one showed up. He was sure the sound was so loud, everyone in the house would have heard that.

He remained silent as his steps were getting farther away from his room and closer to the living room. He froze upon his dark orbs caught the sight of a man standing in the dark. Adamantine had been fearless. All this time he lived by those glances full of judgment yet he stood still. He never actually feel like holding something so dearly other than his principle. Nothing scared him, because he thought he had nothing to lose.

Even when he was encountered with such a situation, he feared nothing. He only froze to observe who was that figure of a man and what his purpose or intention was. Yet he also knew something was off. No sight of his family around nor any action the figure made. He finally took another gentle and slow steps towards what he saw. Adamantine managed to turn the lights on and the said man was also slowly turning around to face him.

“Adamantine Hironidas Lee.”

Adam paused as the person mentioned his name like he knew Adam all his life. He looked decent with his black suit and nothing seemed harmful to Adam’s eyes, although he admitted that he had never seen the man before.

“I’m Hermes, the messenger of gods.”

Adam needed some time to believe everything. Hermes needed extra energy and patience to assure Adam about his existence. Nothing seemed to make sense. Said that all those myths he had learned throughout childhood were true, he didn’t want to believe such a lie. He might be odd and anything but he was never a stupid young man who would be naive enough to think what the man said was not a lie at all. Hermes needed to prove himself and used a little power he had to convince Adam. There was chaos, there was confusion, there was denial.

Hermes started off by telling Adam about why he didn’t have the memory of himself as a baby, why he felt like woke up in the body of a five-year-old boy, and nothing more. Adam admitted that Hermes’ explanation matched with everything that he had experienced. Hermes didn’t leave out any details about it. Adam was left speechless with everything Hermes told him about. Deep down he wanted to believe that everything was real, so he didn’t have to question anything anymore. Deep down he felt Hermes’ explanation was the only answers that satisfied him to all the questions he had been asking. However, he felt like he was trapped in the body of an eleventh-year-old boy with the mind of a hundred-year-old man. He didn’t want to be fooled, or at least, he didn’t want to feel like he was fooled. Not again.

“You are the son of Hades, the God of the Dead, and the king of Underworld.” The statement lingered around his head longer than he expected. He needed time to process that the family he had lived with him all this time was never actually his real family. He needed time to believe that he was born in the Underworld because his real family lived there. He needed time to comprehend that a few more days, exactly on his eleventh birthday, he had to go on a mission. A big mission that the Gods and Goddesses had planned for so long. He was planned to be brought to a new realm with nothing but himself and there he would receive a detailed message regarding this matter.

“Hermes, a question,” he said, stopping Hermes from leaving after a long yet brief explanation.


“Who’s my mother?”


“That’s for you to find out.”

He woke up feeling nauseous. He didn’t know where he was or how he ended up there. The room was enormous and completely foreign, everything there was fancy. King-sized bed, a bathroom sized half the bedroom, a set of digital equipment he had never seen before, a desk with his name on it, and a letter. He narrowed his eyes as his forehead frowned. He extended his arm to grab the letter as he read that it was meant for him, judging by his name written on the recipient section, he opened the letter.

Dear, Mr. Adamantine / Mr. Berlin.

We would like to thank you for being so cooperative during transportation from Berlin to here. Before anything, we would also wish you a happy birthday. May anything you desire will get closer to reality.

As a matter of fact, your majesty, the gate of German which is located exactly at Berlin will be soon opened and you need to close it up for the sake of safety. To close the gate, you need to take out a mission.

Within this letter, we are giving out the mission to be conducted eleven years from today. You need to fetch more peers and hand them out a piece of information. There will be eight more peers to fetch in total, with you, there will be nine. Everything is attached, including your own personal information.

Every gate will be opened after you bring them here and you need to close it up by doing fetching another until the last person. The nine of you will be called as The Liege. You will be the oldest amongst the nine and the will be something more for you to discover within the last mission.

You need to train and prepare for everything before we let you off for this mission. Everything you need is provided sufficiently and there will be guides to help you out. This is your home from now on until further notice.
